• We are all also mandated reporters, meaning that we have to by law report child abuse and elder abuse. Some states have Domestic Violence reporting laws.

• If you are a danger to yourself, the therapist should safety plan with you, but may need to report and have a safety check done to assure safety.

A fair percentage of adults are feeling “stuck” in some area of their lives and want to be able to process those feelings. Others have life transitions or other events going on.
