Meet Our Founder
Avril Lindsay Dennis, LCSW-R, LCSW-QS, GUIDANCE’s founder, has been licensed as a clinical social worker for over 25 years. GUIDANCE & the founding principles are a culmination of that experience, expertise, & commitment to assuring the availability of quality counseling, therapy & consulting services. Avril’s diverse experience, along with years of advocacy for normalizing the need to talk things through, all help to shape GUIDANCE, & those who work with us. There is a lot of talk these days about physical health, & we need to pay attention to the fact that our mental health, which we all have, plays a big role in our physical health & overall wellbeing. It is all connected.
